Essence

Sun Aug 16, 2009, 8:42 PM
Someone on another site, who isn't terribly intelligent, has posted a note asking people if they believe in 'true love', stating that they don't, and then dictates to them a personal (idiotic) definition of true love, stating that true love is with the heart and soul... Not the mind... Then, later, they were trying to say, that if anyone claimed to have reasons that they really loved someone, they didn't truly love them... I get that... to an extent. But after claiming to not believe in love, it just irked me. It's like a atheist trying to tell someone how to believe in Jesus, or how to throw a Bar Mitz-vah, or how to correctly worship Shiva... Just doesn't sit right... Here is my response to that idiot.

True love is where you love someone with your heart and soul, but not ur mind? interesting definition. The mind makes up a part of the soul, one of two equal parts. The mind (intelligence), spirit, and some debate the body makes a soul complete, but thats not what I'm debating here. The soul is a combination of the intelligence, the inner mind, of a person, and their spirit, their physical essence, therefore if you love someone with your soul, you love them very truly with your mind. 'Love' is based more off of mental attraction, started by physical attraction, which grows into a meaningful partnership, and then, true love is the evolution of that attraction into a mutual need... Love is all chemically explainable. Doesn't make it any less real, or spiritual.

The Spirit, is nothing more than an imprint of a person, what supposedly leaves a ghost behind on this earth. An imprint of the body, and it's physical characteristics... It's seat is said to be the heart. It may contain in its memory banks; perhaps residual memories, but they are not terribly intelligent, usually seeming to go through the afterlife with a singular purpose... though they seem to be capable of retaining emotions, and remembering where they frequented in life, procuring mean/kind 'spirited' (no pun intended) ghosts, benign ghosts that can be seen walking, wailers (loud ghosts, lamenting their pasts.) And many others...

An intelligence, is the mind of a person. Their personality, their main emotional spectrum, the mind that was/is in a person. The brain (mind) is the seat of the intelligence. It contains a person as it is in life, its driving memories, emotions, feelings, thoughts and desires... Without a counterpart, it really is nothing more than a memory chip with nothing to run it. It must be combined with something else.

Which brings us to the soul. There is no heart with no mind. There is no mind with no heart... Souls can manifest, as living beings, obviously, they are combined within the body, also, they can manifest outside the body as angels, demons, astral projections, poltergeists, and many other beings outside the natural realm...

Love is real. It exists on many levels, and let no one dictate to you, how true love exists, just know, that it does...

I'm a lot like a big kid. I'm hyper and spastic, with a love for fun, the outdoors, internet, and randomosity. I've also been told I'm mature for my age, but that's probably a matter of opinion. :)

I'm a writer, of stories and poetry both. I like exercise in moderate amounts, but I get alot of it either way, simply because I don't have a vehicle, so I walk or ride a bike everywhere I go. I love the outdoors, and would rather spend the day with someone close to my heart outside than at a party with a ton of friends inside. I like to drink, this I admit, but I don't like beer so I don't get drunk too often. I prefer wine, and some hard liquors. Lol. I absolutely love Midori Sours.

I love music, my life is fairly centered around it, I always have some sort of music playing, and if not, then I am probably humming whatever I listened to last. I write lyrics as well, and often present them to those more instrumentally oriented than I to put music to it. I've been told I'm what society considers metro-sexual. I'm a hopeless romantic, I too often let my heart stray from where it belongs... and so too often get hurt... *sighs* I'm a very charismatic person and get along with people from all walks of life. I've not had an easy one, and so choose not to discriminate against others, you never know what someone else has been through, so I try not to add to their pains.

I LOVE PIZZA, NACHOS AND TACOS. I'm completely random. I am obsessed with eyes, they are a weakness for me, it's one of the first things I look at in a woman, that and hair. I like to bite. I never sleep either, for days at a time on occasion. My friends sometimes call me Vamp or Vlad, on account of those two things. I do nothing to discourage them. I like the twilight series. I love the fantasy world, and LOTR is friggin amazing. I like trees. I like lakes and ponds, but have never been to the ocean.

I know and respect God in my life, and accept Jesus as my true savior. But sometimes me and God definitely disagree on things. I grew up Mormon, but am not sure where I'm at now. I have some amazing friends, and there are people in my life I know for sure would do anything for me. Too often I forget that. I've learned first hand how little things can save lives. Never stay your hand from a kind act, no matter how seemingly insignificant. A hello can save a life. I always try to be the best person I can be, and I love easily. There have been times in my life I never told people I loved them before they were gone, so now I remind the people I love that I do as often as I can, male or female.

Over all, I like who I am. Most other people do too. I've changed alot since I was young, and it's been hard to be me. But in the end, I'm rather glad for my hand in life.

Favorite Quotations:
A life with love will be bitter with some scratches and thorns,
but a life without love will have no roses, candy or kisses to ease the pain. -- Me

"I'm gonna wrestle a COUGAR!!!" -- Paul Powell
"Well you're either alot braver than me. Or just stupid." -- Me
"No. I'm not brave. I'm fuckin' stupid." -- Paul Powell

"Awkward..." -- Me

"Sorry dude I looked over and Shane and Nicole started fucking so I had to go." -- Ryan

"Hey man... You gotta little dick..."
"Yeah? Well you wouldn't say that if I stuck it up your ass now would you?!" -- Carlos Mencia

"Do friendships truly fade away?
Or are they just hiding, waiting to play another part?
Though we may tuck them away,
Friendships leave a mark, an imprint on our heart.
They never truly fade,
Even though we may forge anew,
They helped us in the way we are made,
And the memories you create with them can never be renewed." -- My poem "Fade"

Hey you, what right do you have to go and critisize someone's art in such a rude manner. Look at your gallery punk. It is nothing to right home about. How could you critique a wonderful artist on here when your gallery looks like shit. Grow up looser.
